Random Schmandom

In an effort to not only post on Wednesdays, when Karla begs (or tells) me to, and not just pictures, here's just a random blog. =]

It's Monday (duh...you can see that), about 8:15 p.m...Madi's had her bath, she's hanging out on the couch while she's getting her water feed, and yelling at Caitlin to pay attention to her. Caitlin is laying on the floor, eating popcorn, watching Jingle All The Way (it's the 25 Days of Christmas on ABC Family, so we're watching the good movies everynight together), and rolling around, flipping herself into a pretzel during commercials. It's what she does. She's a monkey I swear. Madi sounds like one and Cait moves like one.

These two are so amusing. <3

Speaking of monkies...

I just handed Madi her monkey rainstick she named Jeffy (don't ask) and she's saying, "thank you thank you!" and for some reason now she is saying, "my baa baa! mommy, my mommy, my BAA BAA" She's not on a bottle anymore so I'm not quite sure what to make of that. Caitlin thinks it's pretty funny too. She asked if maybe she wants her baby bottle to feed her Jeffy. I guess Cait speaks Madi because she got so excited I thought she was going to flip off the couch when Cait said that. Now she's chewing on the bottle and hitting Jeffy upside the head with it. LMAO

Anyways...last week was a rough week and this is a really nice change. It was baaaaaad last week. Now I'm ok...so don't trip out on me...but even the strongest people must breakdown at some point. This last weekend was my point. I had to just to let it all out. Slowly, but surely I'm snapping out of it and believe it or not, I feel pretty accomplished. I have a tendency to keep busy when I've got a lot on my mind, so little projects I haven't had the desire or energy to complete have been getting some much needed attention and now I feel like my load has been lessened a bit.

There's a long road ahead and still plenty to do, but I've got my girls to keep me positive, motivated, and amused along the way.
